Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

Legality

As a DVLA-registered manufacturer and supplier of number plates, Onyx Styling must ensure all of its road-legal plates comply with the British Standard.
By law, we must include our company name, postcode, and the current BSAU number on all road-legal plates.
The font style used for our number plates is Charles Wright, which is the standardised legal font in the UK & Northern Ireland.

The Government and DVLA have confirmed that three-dimensional characters are legal and compliant with UK motoring laws.
This includes ‘4D’ number plates — 4D is an industry term; these plates are still three-dimensional and fully compliant.

For our customers in the Republic of Ireland, we comply with Irish regulations which state:

  • The registration number must be in black on a white reflective background.

  • The county of registration must be in Irish (for example, Baile Átha Cliath).

  • The EU flag and the letters “IRL” must appear on the left-hand side of the plate.

Section 1 – Online Store Terms
